Carrefour - Invisible Reality App
What is it?
One shopping retailer in China made a bold decision - by developing a retail app which would have virtual stores spring up in different parts of China, right beside the doorsteps of competitors. Customers could use the app to purchase in virtual reality. It was a hit and received extensive media coverage throughout China.
And why is this a campaign we love?
Virtual reality can be powerful in setting your brand up against the competition. Just because there’s no physical space doesn’t mean you can’t drive sales.
