Technology giant Samsung goes experiential at Vivid Sydney

What is it?

"Samsung reveals a wonderland of light at Vivid 2019" 

To promote the features of the new Samsung Galaxy S10 they created an activation which dazzled consumers. Multiple light based experiences were created for guests to explore and of course take those all important photos with. Included were art instillations and an illuminated playground complete with LED hopscotch dance floor & illuminated slide. Alongside this were  spots which highlighted specific product features. Such as the charging station which light up with fun shapes when in action, showcasing the new 'Wireless Powershare' function of the phone. A partnership with Instagram ensured each and every inch was perfect for sharing. 

 

Why do we love it?

In the words of Samsungs own "The fact that almost anyone can take part in this interactive experience and unleash their inner child through a series of fun and playful activities, all brought to life in a giant wonderland of light and sound, is what makes this experience so unique."

From a marketing perspective; it is a memorable experience which is sure to be talked about with friends, using Vivid as the stage PR is guarented and finally, the experience effectively managed to highlight product features in a way which was engaging.
